10/4/15 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 45 degrees, E winds at 15 mph, water temp 63 degrees.  We caught 1 northern pike, 1 walleye and 20 largemouth bass.  The best depth was 12-14 ft of water.  The fish were caught on small suckers fished on a lindy rig or a split shot rig.  The main lake points, with the wind, seemed to produce the most fish.  The best spots were Willow Point and the Yacht Club.

10/3/15 Delavan Lake, 55 degrees, partly cloudy, E wind at 20 mph, water temp 65 degrees.  We caught 2 northerns, 18 largemouth bass and a few pan fish.  All fish were caught on medium suckers and nightcrawlers.  Fished main lake points with wind.  The best depth was 12-14 ft of water.

10/2/15 Delavan Lake, partly cloudy, 60 degrees, winds E at 25 mph, water temp 67 degrees.  We caught 10 largemouth bass.  We caught them by 3 flags on medium suckers and nightcrawlers fished on a lindy rig or split shot rig. 

9/30/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 60 degrees, winds E at 20 mph, water temp 68 degrees.  We caught 1 smallmouth a bunch of rock bass and a few bluegills.  The best location was between Knollwood and Elgin Club in 18-20 ft of water.  The fish were biting on nightcrawlers fished on a lindy rig.

9/28/15 Lake Geneva, 65 degrees and sunny, E winds at 15 mph, water temp 69 degrees.  We caught 2 smallmouth bass, 1 largemouth bass and rock bass and bluegills.  The best location was by Yerkes Observatory or by South Shore Club in 18-20 ft of water.  The fish were biting on fat head minnows and on nightcrawlers.

9/26/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 73 degrees, winds E at 10 mph, water temp 70 degrees.  We caught 1 walleye, 6 smallmouth and 12 largemouth bass.  Fishing was very sporadic.  We caught almost all the fish in one spot.  The best approach was a split shot rigged nightcrawler in 14 ft of water.  Fished by 3 flags, Viewcrest Bay and by Browns Channel.

9/25/15  Lake Geneva, sunny,70 degrees, E wind at 15 mph, water temp 71 degrees.  We caught 4 smallmouth bass, a bunch of rock bass and several big bluegills.  The best depth was 22-25 ft of water by South Shore Club.  Most of the action came on lindy rigged nightcrawlers.

9/24/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 65 degrees, winds E at 10 mph, water temp 69 degrees.  We caught 6 largemouth bass and 2 northern pike.  The northern were caught on medium suckers and the largemouth bass were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers or lindy rigged nightcrawlers.  The best depth was 16 ft of water.

9/21/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 65 degrees, winds E at 5 mph, water temp 70 degrees.  We caught 2 northerns and 10 largemouth bass.  The best depth was 12-14 ft of water in Viewcrest Bay.  The fish were aggressively feeding on medium suckers on a large hook, free swimming underneath the boat.

 9/19/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, SW winds at 15 mph, 73 degrees, water temp 70 degrees.   Fished for 3 hours in the afternoon.  The wind was a pretty big issue and we only caught a few panfish.

9/18/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 72 degrees, Winds SW at 15 mph, water temp 71 degrees.  We caught 8 smallmouth and 2 largemouth and a whole bunch of rock bass.  The best approach was lindy rigging extra large fat head minnows in 22-25 ft of water.  Fished by Yerkes Observatory and by South Shore Club.

9/16/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 67 degrees, SW winds at 20 mph, water temp 68 degrees.  We caught 2 largemouth bass and a bunch of bluegills and rock bass.  With the wind, the boat was difficult to hold in position.  The best location was by Coleman’s Point.

9/14/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 60 degrees, SE winds at 10 mph, water temp 70 degrees.  We caught 3 northern pike and 4 largemouth bass.  The best bite was on medium suckers fished on a Thill big fish slider.  Fished 3 flags and the Yacht Club point.

9/13/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 60 degrees, NW winds at 5 mph, water temp 72 degrees.  We caught 5 smallmouth bass, 3 largemouth bass and a bunch of rock bass and pan fish.  We caught a total of 75 fish.  Fished by Yerkes Observatory and Elgin Club, the best depth was 22-25 ft of water.  All fish were caught on lindy rigged nighcrawlers.

9/11/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 60 degrees, E wind at 15 mph, water temp 73 degrees.  We caught 3 largemouth bass and 3 smallmouth bass.  The fish were in 21-25 ft of water.  The best location was in front of Yerkes Observatory and by Colemans Point.  All fish were caught on nightcrawlers fished on a lindy rig.

9/9/15 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 80 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph, water temp 73 degrees.  We caught 7 largemouth bass, 1 northern and 2 smallmouth bass.  The fish were caught on slip bobbered medium suckers in 12-15 ft of water.  Fished by Belvidere Park and the Yacht Club.

9/7/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 70 degrees, W wind at 10 mph, water temp 74 degrees.  We went bluegill fishing and caught 30 keepers in 12-14 ft of water.  The fish were caught in front of Township Park on leaf worms on small split shot rigs.

9/6/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 90 degrees, SW wind at 20 mph, water temp 76 degrees.  We caught 3 largemouth bass, 8 smallmouth and a bunch of bluegills.  Most of the activity was in 20-25 ft of water in front of Yerkes Observatory.  The best method was lindy rigging nightcrawlers.

9/5/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 85 degrees, light winds out of the SW, water temp 77 degrees.  We caught 2 northern pike, 10 largemouth and 2 smallmouth bass.  The fish were caught on the weedlines in 12-15 ft of water.  The best location was by 3 flags and by the Yacht Club.  The pike were caught on medium suckers fished on a lindy rig and the bass were caught on nightcrawlers fished on a split shot rig.

9/4/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 88 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph, water temp 77 degrees.  We caught 1 northern pike, 1 smallmouth and 12 largemouth bass. All the fish were caught on lindy rigged nightcrawlers or fat head minnows in 15-20 ft of water.  The best location was by Willow Point or near 3 flags.

9/3/15  Lake Geneva, sunny, 85 degrees, light SW winds, water temp 75 degrees.  We caught 2 smallmouth bass and 1 largemouth bass.  The best location was by Trinkes.  Lindy rigged nightcrawlers worked the best in 22 ft of water.  The bite was just slow today.

8/31/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 87 degrees, W winds at 5 mph, water temp 75 degrees.  We caught 1 walleye, 2 smallmouth bass and 8 largemouth plus a dozen bluegills.  The best bite was by the concrete point or by the Yacht Club Point.  The best bait was nightcrawlers on a split shot rig in 12-15 ft of water.

 8/30/15 Delavan Lake, partly cloudy, 70 degrees, winds NE at 10 mph, water temp 70 degrees.  We caught 1 smallmouth and 7 largemouth bass.  Most of the fish were caught on split shot rigged fat head minnows in 12-15 ft of water.  The best success was by Willow Point or the Village Supper Club.

8/28/15 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 65 degrees, winds SW at 5 mph, water temp 71 degrees.  We caught 2 northerns and 4 largemouth bass.  The pike were caught on fire tiger crank baits in 12-15 ft of water.  The bass were caught on lindy rigged suckers in 20 ft of water.

8/25/15 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 65 degrees, calm winds, water temp 74 degrees.  We were bluegill fishing and kept 30, boated about 75.  The best depth was 12-15 ft of water.  We used leaf worms.  The best location was Willow Point and by the Yacht Club.

8/22/15  Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, Winds SW at 15 mph, water temp 75 degrees.  We caught 2 northern Pike, 1 walleye, 8 largemouth and 2 smallmouth bass.  Most of the fish were caught on medium suckers fished on a Thill big fish slider in 8-10 ft of water.  The walleye and largemouth bass were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers in 18-20 ft of water.

8/21/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 70 degrees, light wind, water temp 76 degrees.  We caught 2 northern pike and 11 largemouth bass.  Only one largemouth was caught on a split shot rigged nightcrawler.  All the rest were caught in 10-12 ft of water on Thill big fish sliders.  Fished mostly the south shore main lake weed points.

8/18/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 79 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph, water temp 76 degrees.  We caught 1 smallmouth and many rock bass and bluegills.  Worked a depth of 21-29 ft of water.  The best location was by South Shore club and Gage Marine.

8/17/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 85 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph, water temp 79 degrees.  We caught 2 largemouth bass, 6 smallmouth and a bunch of panfish.  Fished depths of 21-30 ft of water.  We used lindy rigged nightcrawlers by South shore club and by Yerkes Observatory.

8/16/15 Lake Geneva, sunny & hot, 85 degrees, winds SW at 10 mph, water temp 80 degrees.  We caught 3 largemouth bass and 7 smallmouth bass plus a bunch of rock bass and pan fish.  Fished in front of Yerkes Observatory in 20-25 ft of water.  The best approach was nightcrawlers fished on a lindy rig or split shot rig.

8/15/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 85 degrees, humid, winds SW at 5 mph, water temp 80 degrees.  We caught 6 largemouth and 1 northern pike all day long.  Fishing was very slow, we fished the weedlines in 15-18 ft of water.  The only consistent bite was bluegills.

8/14/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 78 degrees, winds 5 mph from the west, water temp 76 degrees.  We caught 6 smallmouth and 5 largemouth bass and a bunch of bluegills.  The best depth was 22-30 ft of water.  Scattered weeds and hard bottom held the most fish.  The best location was by Yerkes Observatory and the South Shore Club.

8/13/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, W wind at 15 mph, water temp 76 degrees.  We caught 2 northern pike and 6 largemouth bass.  Fishing was relatively slow.  The pike were caught on medium suckers fished in 20-22 ft of water.  The largemouth were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

8/12/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 78 degrees, no wind, water temp 76 degrees.  We caught 12 largemouth, 1 legal walleye and a bunch of bluegills.  The game fish were caught on main lake points in 20-22 ft of water.  Lindy rigged nightcrawlers were the best presentation.

8/11/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 79 degrees, N wind at 5 mph, water temp 76 degrees.  We caught  13 largemouth and 4 smallmouth bass.  The fish were on the main lake points in 20-23 ft of water.  The best presentation was a split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

8/10/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 76 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph, water temp 77 degrees.  We caught 2 walleyes, 2 northerns, 1 smallmouth and 12 largemouth.  The fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers or lindy rigged nightcrawlers.  The best depth was 20-22 ft of water.

 8/7/15   Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees.  We caught 12 largemouth and 1 smallmouth bass.  The fish were caught on medium suckers fished on a lindy rig and split shot rigged nightcrawlers.  The best depth of water was 15 ft.

8/6/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 80 degrees, light winds, water temp 79 degrees.  We caught 10 largemouth bass and 2 northern pike.  Fished the main lake points.  The northern pike were caught on medium suckers in 22 ft of water. 

8/5/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 79 degrees, NW wind at 5 mph, water temp 77 degrees.  We caught  9 smallmouth bass and 30-40 bluegills.  Concentrated on lindy rigging nightcrawlers on underwater humps in Williams Bay, Fontana and by the South Shore Club.

8/4/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 81 degrees,  N wind at 5 mph, water temp 78 degrees.  We caught  20 largemouth and 1 northern.  Fishing was awesome, all the largemouth bass were caught on main lake points and every point seemed to produce fish.  They were in 15-18 ft of water.  The northern pike came out of 23 ft of water.

8/3/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, N winds at 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees.  We caught 1 smallmouth bass, 12 largemouth and 1 walleye.  We concentrated on main lake points but had to search for the fish.  They weren’t easily found today.  The best depth was 15-18 ft of water

8/1/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, winds W at 5 mph, water temp 79 degrees.  Caught 4 largemouth bass, 1 walleye, 1 northern pike, 1 smallmouth bass and some bluegills.  The fish were located off the main lake points in 12-15 ft of water.  The best approach was lindy rigging medium suckers or a split shot rigged nightcrawler.  The best location was the Yacht Club or by Willow Point.

7/31/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 78 degrees, W winds at 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees.  Today was a pan fish trip, we caught largemouth bass, bluegills and crappies.  The bass were off the weedline in 15-17 ft of water.   The crappies were on the weedline in 12 ft of water.  Fished throughout the whole lake and the main lake points seemed to produce the most action.

7/29/15 Delavan Lake p.m., sunny, 85 degrees, W winds at 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees.  We caught 12 largemouth, 2 walleyes and 1 smallmouth.  We fished the main lake points with a split shot rigged nightcrawler.  The best point was Willow Point.

7/28/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 80 degrees, W winds at 10 mph, water temp 77 degrees.  We caught 9 largemouth, 1 walleye and 1 northern.   We fished under water humps off the main lake basin.  The best approach was lindy rigged nightcrawlers and leeches.  The best location was by Willow Point and the concrete point.

7/27/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 78 degrees, light winds out of the west, water temp 77 degrees.  Went Lake Trout fishing for the first 3 hours of light without success.  We trolled throughout the lake but the floating  weeds made it difficult.

7/25/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 80 degrees, winds W at 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees.  We caught 4 largemouth and 2 smallmouth bass.  The largemouth came out of 8 ft of water by Conference Point and the smallmouth came out of 21-25 ft of water off deep water points.  The smallmouth were lindy rigged with nightcrawlers and a 24 inch leader, the largemouth were caught with split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

7/24/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 79 degrees, W winds at 5 mph, water temp 78 degrees.  We caught 3 largemouth and 7 smallmouth.  Took us most of the morning to find a school of smallmouth bass.  We found them just west of Conference Point.  The largemouth were caught by Coleman’s Point in 12 ft of water.  Fishing was tough due to the calm water, we caught all of the smallmouth in the last ˝ hour of the trip.

7/23/15 Lauderdale Lake, sunny, 80 degrees, calm winds, water temp 77 degrees.  Caught 1 walleye, 7 largemouth and 15 bluegills.  Fishing was tough, most of the bigger bluegills were caught around deep water docks.  The bass and walleye were caught with split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

7/23/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 80 degrees, calm winds, water temp 79 degrees.  Caught 3 walleyes, 12 largemouth and no northern pike.  All the fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers off  the weedline in 15-20 ft of water. We fished the main lake points.

7/22/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 83 degrees, calm winds, water temp 75 degrees.  We caught 20 smallmouth and 1 largemouth.  The fish were caught with split shot rigged nightcrawlers fished in deep water structure in 20-25 ft of water.  The fish were by South shore club and by Fontana Beach.

7/21/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 76 degrees, W wind at 5 mph, water temp 75 degrees.  We caught 1 legal walleye, 18 largemouth and 2 northern pike.  The northern pike and a few bass were caught on lindy rigged medium suckers.  The rest of the fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.  Most of the fish were right on the weedline in 15 ft of water. 

7/19/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 80 degrees, winds N at 5 mph, water temp 75 degrees.  We caught 1 smallmouth bass, 2 largemouth and a few pan fish.  Fishing was very tough, the best success was by Coleman’s Point which is just east of Cedar Point.  Most of the success came out of 14 ft of water.  Tried deeper with no success.

7/17/15 Delavan lake, sunny, 85 degrees, NE wind at 10 mph, water temp 75 degrees.  We caught 2 northerns, 25 largemouth and a few bluegills.  Fished the main lake points with leeches and nightcrawlers, we also caught some largemouth on medium suckers in 7-8 ft of water. 

7/16/15 Delavan lake, cloudy, 72 degrees, SW winds at 5 mph, water temp 74 degrees.  We caught 12 largemouth bass, 2 walleyes and 2 northern pike.  Fished leeches and nightcrawlers off the main lake points, the best location was just west of the Yacht Club.  The northern pike and a few largemouth were caught on Thill big fish slip bobbers fished with medium suckers.

7/14/15 Delavan Lake, partly cloudy, 78 degrees, N wind at 15 mph, water temp 74 degrees.  We caught 20 largemouth bass and 5 walleyes.  Found several schools of largemouth bass in 15-18 ft of water.  They were readily caught on leeches and nightcrawlers fished on a split shot or lindy rig.

7/13/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 86 degrees, SW wind at 10 mph, water temp 74 degrees.  We caught 28 largemouth, 2 legal walleyes and 1 30 inch pike.  Fishing was really good in 15-18 ft of water off the main lake points. The fish were caught on lindy rigged nightcrawlers and the Northern pike were caught on lindy rigged suckers in 22 ft of water.

7/11/15 Lake Geneva, cloudy, 73 degrees, winds calm, water temp 73 degrees.  Caught 2 smallmouth and 4 largemouth bass and a bunch of pan fish.  Fishing was slow, the lack of wind affected the bite due to water clarity.  All fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

7/10/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 76 degrees, winds calm, water temp 72 degrees.  Caught 3 smallmouth and 12 largemouth and a bunch of pan fish.  Fished by Knollwood with a split shot rigged nightcrawler.  The best depth was 15 ft of water.

7/9/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, NE wind at 5 mph, water temp 72 degrees.  Caught 30 walleyes, 3 northern pike, 3 smallmouth and 12 largemouth.  Fished all day, the northern pike were caught on lindy rigged suckers, all other fish were caught on lindy rigged nightcrawlers.  Fished the main lake points.

7/8/15 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 70 degrees, NE wind at 5 mph, water temp 71 degrees.  Caught 4 walleyes, 10 largemouth bass and 2 northern pike.  The fish were all caught on main lake points.  The fish were caught on lindy rigged leeches and lindy rigged medium suckers.

7/5/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, no wind, water temp 73 degrees.  Caught 5 walleyes, 6 largemouth bass and 50 bluegills.  The best location was Viewcrest in 12 ft of water.  We were split shot rigging small leaf worms.

7/4/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 75 degrees, no wind, water temp 71 degrees.  Caught 15 largemouth bass, 6 smallmouth bass and a bunch of panfish.  Caught a lot of fish by Knollwood and Colemans Point.  The best depth was 12-15 ft of water. 

7/3/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 70 degrees, winds E at 5 mph, water temp 71 degrees.  Caught 22 largemouth bass and a whole bunch of panfish.  Caught most of the fish by Colemans Point and South shore Club.  All fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers and 12-15 ft of water.

7/2/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 55 degrees, E wind at 10 mph, water temp 69 degrees.  Caught 12 largemouth bass, 7 smallmouth bass and a bunch of pan fish.  Caught most of the fish by Knollwood and Elgin Club in 8-12 ft of water.  Small plastics and split shot rigged nightcrawlers were the most effective.

6/29/15 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 73 degrees, no wind, water temp 69 degrees.  Caught 1 walleye, 4 northerns, 3 smallmouth and 6 largemouth bass.  The smallmouth and northern pike were caught on lindy rigged suckers in 24 ft of water.  The rest of the fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers in 15 ft of water.  The best location was by the Yacht Club and by Willow Point.

6/27/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, NE wind at 10 mph, water temp 73 degrees.  Caught 20 largemouth, 3 northern pike and 4 walleyes.  All fish were located off the main lake points.  The largemouth and walleye were caught on nightcrawlers and the northern pike were caught on medium suckers.

6/26/15 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 75 degrees, NE winds at 20 mph, water temp 73 degrees.  Caught 18 largemouth and 6 walleyes.  Fished the main lake points with split shot rigged nightcrawlers.  The fish were located in 15-17 ft of water.

6/24/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 75 degrees, calm winds, water temp 71 degrees.  Caught 13 smallmouth and 15 largemouth.  The best location was just west of Cedar Point in 12 ft of water.  We used split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

6/23/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 70 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph, water temp 71 degrees.  Caught 10 smallmouth and 12 largemouth.  Fished in 10-12 ft of water with split shot rigged nightcrawlers.  Just west of Cedar Point produced most of the action.

6/22/15 Delavan Lake, sunny/cloudy, 75 degrees, W winds at 25 mph, water temp 71 degrees.  Caught 20 largemouth, 10 walleyes and 4 smallmouth.  All the fish came on split shot rigged nightcrawlers and medium suckers on a lindy rig.  The best location was the Yacht Club and Willow Point.

6/20/15 Lake Geneva – fished all day, winds were calm and built up to 20 mph out of the south, cloudy, 75 degrees, water temp 69 degrees.  Caught 23 largemouth, 10 smallmouth and a bunch of rock bass.  Fished most of the lake, the best of the lake was by the South Shore Club and just east of Cedar Point in 10-12 ft of water.   The largest bass were caught on a Texas rigged purple power worm.

6/19/15 Delavan Lake – fished all day, sunny, 78 degrees, E winds at 15 mph, water temp 71 degrees.  Caught 24 largemouth, 1 northern pike, 7 smallmouth and 3 walleyes.  Fished the weedline in 15-17 ft of water.  The pike and smallmouth were caught on medium suckers fished on a lindy rig.  The largemouth bass were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers as were the walleye.

6/18/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 75 degrees, W wind at 15 mph, water temp 70 degrees.  Caught 10 smallmouth and 13 largemouth.  The best depth was 10-12 ft of water.  The best location was by Knollwood and the Duck hole.  All fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

6/17/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees, no wind, water temp 71 degrees.  Caught 1 walleye, 15 largemouth and 1 smallmouth as well as a bunch of bluegills.  Fish were off the weedline in 13-15 ft of water.  All fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

6/16/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 70 degrees, NE wind at 10 mph, water temp 65 degrees.  Caught 9 smallmouth bass and 3 largemouth bass.  Although we didn’t catch large numbers today, the biggest 5 bass of the trip were over 3 ˝ lbs.  Fished the Duck hole and Elgin Club in 12-14 ft of water.  Used a split shot rigged nighcrawler most of the time.

6/15/15 Delavan Lake, rainy, cloudy, 75 degrees, SW wind at 5 mph, water temp 70 degrees.  Caught 8 smallmouth, 2 walleyes, 2 northerns and 8 largemouth.  The largemouth were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers, the smallmouth and northern were caught on lindy rigged suckers.

6/14/15  Delavan Lake, cloudy, light rain, 75 degrees, light winds out of the SW, water temp 68 degrees.  Caught 15 largemouth, 2 northerns and 1 walleye.  The northern pike were caught on lindy rigged suckers in 20 ft of water.  The largemouth were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers off the main lake points, the best depth was 12-14 ft. 

6/13/15 Lake Geneva, cloudy, 65 degrees, winds E at 5 mph, water temp 65 degrees.  Caught 10 smallmouth bass, 13 largemouth and a bunch of rock bass.  Fished near Knollwood and Elgin Club.  Worked a depth of 10-11 ft of water. All the fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

6/11/15 Lake Geneva, cloudy, 60 degrees, winds SE at 15 mph, water temp 61 degrees.  Caught 8 largemouth and 10 smallmouth.  Fished by Belvidere Park and by Knollwood.  The best depth was 10-12 ft.  All fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

6/10/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 80 degrees, NW winds at 15 mph, water temp 64 degrees.  Caught 10 smallmouth, 4 largemouth and a bunch of panfish.  The best depth was 12 ft of water.  The fish were caught on hair jigs or split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

6/9/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 70 degrees, SW winds at 5 mph, water temp 64 degrees.  Caught 6 smallmouth bass, 9 largemouth bass and a bunch of rock bass and other pan fish.  Most of the fish were caught in Williams Bay or by Linn Pier.  Worked a depth of 10-12 ft of water. 

6.7.15 Lake Geneva, cloudy, rainy, 62 degrees, SW winds at 20 mph, water temp 61 degrees.  Caught 1 smallmouth, 1 largemouth and a bunch of rock bass.  The rain chased us off the water after an hour.  We fished South Shore Club in 8-12 ft of water.  All fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

6.6.15 Lake Geneva, cloudy, 60 degrees,  NE winds at 15 mph, water temp 61 degrees.  Caught 6 smallmouth, 8 largemouth and a ton of rock bass.  Fished Knollwood and Elgin Club in 10-12 ft of water.

6.5.15 Lake Geneva, afternoon trip, sunny, 70 degrees, NE winds at 10 mph, water temp 61 degrees.  Caught 3 smallmouth bass, 8 largemouth and many rock bass.  We fished by the South Shore Club, Knollwood and Gage Marine, worked a water depth of 10-12 ft of water.

6.4.15 Lake Geneva, cloudy, 60 degrees, NE winds at 10 mph., water temp 60 degrees.  Caught 2 smallmouth and 6 largemouth bass.  Fished by the South Shore Club and Knollwood in 10-12 ft of water.  We used white hair jigs and split shot rigged nightcrawlers.

6.3.15 Lake Geneva, afternoon trip, 70 degrees, SW winds at 10 mph., water temp 60 degrees.  Caught 6 smallmouth bass and 7 largemouth bass.  All the fish were caught on split shot nightcrawlers from Knollwood to Elgin Club.

5.31.15 Lake Geneva, Partly Cloudy, 55 degrees, NE winds at 20, water temp  59 degrees, Caught 8 smallmouth, 6 Largemouth, many panfish.  Fished from Knollwood to Elgin Cub.  Best depth was 10-12 feet of water.  Nightcrawlers fished on a split-shot rig caught most of the fish.  Some minnows also worked.

5.28.15 Lake Geneva, Sunny, 80 degrees, light winds, water temp 59 degrees, Caught 6 Largemouth, many panfish.  As nice as the weather was the fishing stunk.  Fished most of the lake in varying depths.  Best luck came by the South Shore Club in 8-10 feet of water.  The best bait was a fathead minnow.

5.25.15 Delavan lake, Cloudy , 70 degrees, NE Wind at 15, Water Temp 60.  Caught 12 Largemouth, 1 walleye, 1 smallmouth,  All fish were caught on a split-shot rigged nightcrawler  in 8-10 feet of water.  Best location by Assembly Park.

5.23.15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 65 degrees,  SW wind at 13 mph, water temp 60 degrees.  Caught 6 northern pike and 7 largemouth bass and 1 smallmouth bass.  The pike were caught on medium suckers in 10 ft of water on the west end of the lake.  The largemouth were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers in front of Lake Lawn Lodge.

5.22.15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 60 degrees, E winds at 10 mph, water temp 55 degrees.  Caught 6 largemouth bass, 3 smallmouth bass and 1 big crappie.  Started in the a.m. in Abbey Harbor where we caught all the largemouth bass on split shot rigged nightcrawlers.  Moved on to the main lake and caught the smallmouth in 10-12 ft of water on split shot rigged fat head minnows.  The best location was by the old MilitaryAcademy.

5.18.15  Delavan Lake, sunny, 70 degrees, N wind 15-25 mph, water temp 62 degrees.  Caught 11 largemouth bass and 1 smallmouth bass.  With the wind the lake was somewhat unfishable.  We caught our fish by Assembly Park in 5-6 ft of water.  We used split shot rigged nightcrawlers

5.17.18  Lake Geneva, cloudy & foggy, air temp 70 degrees, winds S at 15 mph.  Water temp 55 degrees.  Caught 6 smallmouth bass, 1 musky and a handful of rock bass.  All fish were caught on a white hair jig in 8-10 ft of water.  The best location was by the old Military Academy. 

5.16.18 Lauderdale Lakes, sunny, 75 degrees, no wind, water temp 58 degrees.  Caught 10 largemouth bass and a couple of crappies and about twenty 8” bluegills.  The best action was in 18-20 ft of water by the old girls scout camp.  The bass were caught on small fat head minnows in 8-10 ft of water.

5.14.18 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 60 degrees, winds SE at 10-15 mph, water temp 56 degrees.  Caught 3 smallmouth bass and 7 largemouth bass.  Two of the bass were over 18 inches.  Best location was drifting in front of Lake Lawn Lodge in 5-6 ft of water.  We used nightcrawlers fished on a split shot rig.

5/10/15 Lake Geneva,  misty rain, 45 degrees, winds NE at 10 mph, water temp 58 degrees.  Caught 7 smallmouth bass.  Fished by Elgin Club in 10 ft of water.  All the fish were caught on hair jigs fished on 4 lb test.

5/9/15 Delavan Lake,  cloudy, 45 degrees, winds NE at 10 mph, water temp 60 degrees.  Caught 12 largemouth bass and 1 walleye.  Fished by Lake Lawn golf course, it was too windy to effectively fish the Senkos.  We caught our fish on split shot rigged nightcrawlers. All  the fish were caught drifting from the boat launch channel just past the Marina at Lake Lawn.  The best depth was 5-6 ft of water.

5/8/15 Lake Koshkonong, cloudy, winds SW at 10 mph.  air temp 65, water temp 60 degrees.  Caught 8 walleyes, 10 white bass and 1 northern.  Trolled  Lindy river rockers and crawler harnesses.  The best depth was around 5 ft of water.  Pretty much worked the entire south shore.  The best color was purple for the baits.

5/3/15 – Delavan Lake, cloudy, 65 degrees, winds SW at 15 mph, water temp 57 degrees.  Caught 4 largemouth bass and 15 bluegills.  All the action was by the outlet dam.  The bass were caught on Senkos and the bluegills were caught on redworms underneath a bobber in 2 ft of water.

5/2/15 – Delavan Lake, sunny, 70 degrees, winds N at 10 mph, water temp 57 degrees.  Caught 5 largemouth bass and 3 northerns.  The bass were caught in 2-3 ft of water on green pumpkin Senkos.  The fish were caught near the outlet dam.  The pike were caught on slip bobbered medium suckers in 8 ft of water.  The best location was in Viewcrest Bay.

4/28/15 – Delavan Lake, sunny, winds SW at 10 mph, air temp 65, water temp 57 degrees.  It was a bluegill trip and we caught about 60 of them in 2 ft of water by the outlet dam.  We used leaf worms fished underneath a bobber.
