10/15/06 Lake Geneva, sunny and 40 degrees. Winds out of the SW at 10 mph.  Caught 10 smallmouth - 9 legal.  The largest was 18 inches.  Fished by the Military Academy in 20-22 ft of water.  Lindy rigged small perch and fat head minnows were the best.

10/14/06 Lake Geneva, sunny, 35 degrees.  Winds out of the west at 15 mph.  Caught 1 largemouth, 5 smallmouth - 3 legal, largest was 20 1/2 inches.  Today the bigger fish came off of lindy rigged chubs.  Fished the west end in Fontana.  The best depth was 21 ft.

10/9/06 Lake Geneva, sunny and 55 degrees. Winds out of the E at 15-20 mph. Fished the afternoon.  Caught 14 smallmouth-5 legal, the largest was 18 inches.  Fished by the Military Academy in 20-22 ft of water.  Fished fat head minnows and perch.

10/7/06 Lake Geneva, sunny and 62 degrees.  Winds out of the SW at 20 mph.  Caught 13 smallmouth - 8 legal.  The largest was 17 1/2 inches.  Same techniques as the rest of the week - 21 to 24 ft of water and fat head minnows and perch are the best bait.  We would have caught more but we tried trolling for northerns about 1/2 way through the trip but didn't have much luck.

10/6/06 Lake Geneva, Sunny and 60 degrees.  Winds out of the S at 20 mph.  Caught 19 smallmouth - 8 legal.  The largest was 18 inches.  Same story, fat head minnows or small perch in 21-24 ft of water.  

10/5/06 Lake Geneva, sunny & 60 degrees.  Light wind out of the SW.  Caught 20 smallmouth - 8 legal.  The largest fish was 21 inches.  The fish were in 21-24 ft of water by the Military Academy.  The best bait was fat head minnows fished on a split shot rig or small perch fished on a lindy rig dead sticked.

10/1/06  Lake Geneva, Sunny & 70 degrees. No wind.  Fished from 6:30-10am, caught 26 smallmouth, (10 legal largest was 20"),1 northern and a lot of panfish. The best bait was perch or fathead minnows. Fished in 20-24 feet of water. I fished them on a split shot rig. I only fished by the military academy. It was awesome without wind

9/24/06 Delavan Lake, rainy and cold, 62 degrees.  Winds out of the North at 15-20 mph.  Fished from 6-8:30 am, Caught 12 walleyes (4 legals), 2 Largemouth, and 1 -34" Northern. Fishing was good this morning early then died completely, so we went for breakfast. Fish were on the weedline in 18 feet of water. We casted fathead minnows on a small jig and the the split-shot rig. Best spot was by Delmar. You had to fight the strong North wind.

9/20/06 Delavan Lake, p.m., sunny, 60 degrees. Winds out of the SW at 5 mph.  Caught 2 northerns, 6 largemouth only 4 had any size to them.  All the fish were caught on nightcrawlers fished on a split shot rig.  Fished the weed line in 16-20 ft.

9/16/06 Delavan Lake, p.m., sunny, 75 degrees.  Winds out of the SW at 15 mph.  Caught 6 Largemouth bass - 1 legal, 3 northerns - 1 @32 inches and a bunch of bluegills.  All fish were caught on nightcrawlers, while fishing the deep weedline in 16-22 ft of water.  The wind made fishing a bit tough.

9/16/06 Lake Geneva, a.m., sunny, 65 degrees, winds out of the South at 15-20 mph.  Caught 12 smallmouth - 8 legal, and a bunch of perch and bluegills.  The best action was in 20 ft of water fishing nightcrawlers on a split shot rig near the Military Academy.

9/13/06 Lake Geneva, sunny, 70 degrees. Winds light out of the SW.  Caught 22 smallmouth - 6 legal, and a bunch of panfish.  All the fish were caught in 16-22 ft of water in a 100 yard stretch near the Military Academy.  Fished from noon until 5 pm.

9/10/06 Delavan Lake, rainy, 60 degrees.  Winds out of the NE at 10-20 mph. Caught 11 largemouth, 3 walleyes - largest was 17 inches, and 1 smallmouth bass which was just 18 inches and about 30 bluegills. Worked the weed edge in 20-25 ft of water with nightcrawlers fished on a split shot. The best location was by Willow Point. It was too windy to fish for northerns.

9/9/06 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 62 degrees.  Winds howling out of the north at 20 mph.  Had a dad and two sons with me. Caught 9 largemouth - the biggest was 20 inches, 1 small walleye and 30-40 bluegills. Fishing was slow due to the cold front on its way through. Tried for northerns with suckers but didn't get a sniff. All the fish were caught on nightcrawlers fished on a single hook with a split shot. I did try some fat head minnows but didn't get a bite on that either. The best depth was on the weedline in 17 ft of water.

9/8/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 80 degrees.  Winds light out of the SW at 10 mph.  Caught 10 largemouth, 1 smallmouth and 30-40 bluegills.  All the fish were caught on nightcrawlers fished in 16-20 ft of water.  

9/7/06 Lake Geneva, sunny, 84 degrees.  Winds out of the SW at 10 mph.  Caught 3 largemouth - 1 legal and 8 smallmouth - 2 legal.  Fished the pm from noon until 4 pm.  Not the best time to be out on the water.  Most of the fish came out of 20 ft of water.  

8/26/06 Lake Geneva, cloudy 80 degrees.  Winds SW at 5 mph.  Caught 13 smallmouth (2 legal), 2 largemouth and about 20-30 panfish.  The best depth was 22-29 ft of water.  Most of the fish were caught by the Yacht Club and by Colemans Point.  The best bait was nightcrawlers.

8/23/06 Lake Geneva, cloudy, overcast, 80 degrees.  Winds light out of the SW.  Caught 9 smallmouth (2 legal), 2 largemouth (1 legal) and 50-60 panfish.  The best depth was 20-28 ft of water.  Fished the Military Academy and Colemans Point.

8/21/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees.  Winds light out of the SW.  Caught 8 largemouth (2 legal), 2 walleyes and 2 northerns and 30-40 bluegills.  The bluegills, walleye and bass were all caught on nightcrawlers.  The best depth was 20-22 ft.  The northerns were caught on suckers in the same depth range.  

8/19/06 Delavan Lake, foggy, 70 degrees.  Winds calm.  Caught 3 walleyes, 6 largemouth- 2 legal, and about 100 bluegills.  Fished in the a.m., didn't try for northerns today.  The bluegills were caught on leaf worms and the walleyes were caught on nightcrawlers.  The best depth was 16-18 ft.

8/17/06 Lake Geneva, rainy, fished p.m., 74 degrees.  Winds out of the SW at 10 mph.  Caught 4 smallmouth - 3 legal, 1 largemouth, 3 pike and a bunch of panfish.  The legal smallies and pike were caught on medium suckers fished on a lindy rig.  All the other fish were caught on nightcrawlers with a split shot.  Best location was the Military Academy.

8/15/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, fished p.m., 78 degrees.  Winds calm.  Caught 3 Northerns, 5 Largemouth (1 legal) 20 Bluegills, 4 Bullheads. The Bass were caught in 16-18 feet of water on the weedline on nightcrawlers. The Northerns were on medium suckers. The floating weeds was a huge factor. Yacht Club Point was the best.

8/14/06 Lake Geneva, cloudy, 70 degrees.  Winds E at 10 mph.  Caught 5 Largemouth 3 legals, 6 Smallmouth 4 legals, and many panfish. Had one of my best trips all year I wish it was'nt my business or it would have been free. The Mark Smith family was out with me. Mark was back from Iraq on leave. He took 6 year old Kalya, 8 year old Nathan and wife Terri out fishing. The game plan was action and we had lots of it. Nightcrawlers in 14-20 FOW. Went through 12 Dozen crawlers in 4 hours. Kalya outfished everyone, her biggest was a 4 lb. Largemouth. Mark has 2 months left lets pray for his safety

8/13/06 Lake Geneva, sunny, 75 degrees.  Winds SE at 10 mph.  Caught 9 smallmouth, 3 legal, 5 northern, the largest was 29 inches and caught 2 small largemouth.  The northerns came out of 38 ft of water by Cedar Point on medium suckers.  Most of the other fish were caught by the Military Academy.

8/12/06 Lake Geneva, sunny, 75 degrees. Winds SE at 10 mph.  Caught 24 smallmouth, 7 legal, 2 largemouth and about 60 panfish.  All of the fish were caught on nighcrawlers fished in 21-22 ft of water.  The best spot was by the Military Academy.

8/10/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees. Water temp 75 degrees.  Winds out of the east at 10 mph.  Fishing was slow, caught 1 northern, 2 walleyes, 3 largemouth and about 30 bluegills.  The northern was caught on a sucker, the rest were caught on nightcrawlers fished on as split shot on the weed line. 

8/6/06 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 80 degrees.  Winds were light out of the SW at 10 mph.  Fished for only a few hours early.  Caught 3 walleyes, 1 largemouth and a bunch of bluegills.  Fishing was again a bit slow and my buddy and I weren't fishing that hard.  The best success was on the deep weed line in 16-18 ft.   

8/5/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 85 degrees.  Winds were light out of the SW.  Caught 2 northerns, 3 walleyes, 4 largemouth and a bunch of bluegills.  Fishing was kind of slow.  Had a customer out who just wanted to learn the lake so we fished a lot of different spots.  All the fish were caught on the weed line in 16-18 ft of water. 

8/1/06 Lake Geneva, sunny, 98 degrees.  Winds were out of the SW at 10-15 mph.  Caught 6 northerns and had 2 others bite off. The best depth was 38 ft. of water.  The best spot was by Cedar Point.  Fished only 2 hours.

7/30/06 Lake Geneva, cloudy, 80 degrees.  Winds were all over from 5-10 mph, with storm cloudy threatening.  Fished today from 6 a.m until 11 a.m. with limited success. Caught 3 small smallmouth bass in the first 1 hour of the trip with a bunch of panfish, switched gears to northern pike but I couldn't get them to bite. We landed 4 fish, 1 was 32 inches the others were 28-30 inches. Had 5 other bites but they just didn't hold on long enough to catch. The best depth was either 32' or 38'. Fished by Fontana and in Williams Bay.  

7/29/06 Delavan Lake, sunny 90 degrees. Winds out of the SW at 5 mph. Caught 7 northerns, 1 legal, 5 walleyes, 1 legal, 5 largemouth bass, 2 legal and one very small smallmouth. The northerns came out of 27 ft. on lindy rigged suckers. Most of the pike came near the Yacht Club. The walleyes bit first thing in the a.m. and then died off. The walleyes were caught split shotting nightcrawlers. The largemouth bass were caught casting the weedline while walleye fishing. We probably caught 10-12 bluegills while fishing for walleyes and bass

7/24/06 Lake Geneva, sunny, 85 degrees. Winds were out of the SW at 15 mph.  Fished from 6:30 to 11:00 a.m. Fished for bass and panfish for the first 3 hours. Caught 2 largemouth, 3 smallmouth, only 1 was legal. Due to the strong west winds, only fished the south shore by the Military Academy in 12-14 ft. All fish were caught split shotting nightcrawlers. The last 1 1/2 hours, we switched gears and fished for Northern Pike. Only caught 2, however 1 was 36 inches. The fish came out of 32 ft of water in Fontana while lindy rigging small suckers.

7/22/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees  Caught 17 Walleyes(1 19"), 15 Largemouth (3 legals), 2 Northerns, 1 Smallmouth and a few pan fish. Had a great day on the water. All the fish except the northerns came off of nightcrawlers fished on a split shot rig. The best depth was 21 ft. The average size of the walleyes is around 17 inches. The bite slowed tremendously around 9:15 so we headed in.

7/21/06 Delavan Lake, cloudy, light rain.  Fished  from 4-8:30 pm , Caught 9 Pike (1 34"), 6 Walleyes, 4 LM Bass, and some panfish. The pike were on Lindy rigged suckers and the bass and walleyes were on nightcrawlers fished on a split-shot rig. They prefered green hooks tonight. I worked the weedline in 20-24 feet of water. 

7/18/06 Delavan Lake, partly cloudy, 89 degrees. Fished from 4:30-8:30 pm, caught 10 Pike none were legal. Had a big problem keeping my bait alive, first time all year I lost a bunch in my live well, or we would have caught more. The best depth was 22 feet today, shallower than yesterday. Fished Bass for awhile caught 2 small ones, 2 bullheads, and 2 crappies. Was working the weedline in 16 feet of water. Fished nightcrawlers

7-17-06, Delavan Lake, sunny, 98 degrees.  Fished 1-5 pm, It was hot!!! Wind was howling out of the West at 25 mph. Boat traffic wasn't bad at all. Caught 11 pike (2 just legal), Missed 6 others on early hook sets. The best depth was 27 ft of water. The average size today was 28" All on Lindy rigged suckers

7/15/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 90 degrees. Winds light out of the NE.  Caught 2 northerns, 4 largemouth (1 legal), 2 walleyes, 1 smallmouth (legal), 1 crappie and numerous bluegills.  The majority of the time was spent catching bluegills for a fish fry but we still ended up catching numerous game fish.  The best depth was 16 ft on the weedline and the best bait was leaf worms.

7/14/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 80 degrees.  Winds light out of the SW at 5 mph.  Caught 8 northerns, 4 largemouth and plenty of panfish.  The pike came out of 27 ft of water on suckers.  the bass came off of nightcrawlers fished on a split shot in 16 ft of water.  Fishing was kind of slow, even though the weather was perfect.

7/11/06 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 75 degrees. Winds 10 mph out of the east.  Caught 8 northerns, missed 5 others. Largest was 32 inches.  Caught 3 largemouth (1 - 18 1/2 inches)  Most of the fish came off of suckers fished on a lindy rig.  The bass came off of nightcrawlers fished on a split shot rig.

7/9/06 Delavan Lake, sunny 85 degrees. Winds out of the SW at 10-15 mph.  Fishing was terrible today caught 6 northerns, the biggest was 31 inches.  The fish were even deeper, the best success was 27-28 ft of water. Also caught 1 walleye and 2 largemouth on nightcrawlers.

7/7/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 82 degrees. Winds light out of the SW at 5 mph.  Caught 11 northerns (2 legal), 3 walleyes and 2 largemouth (1 legal).  The pike were deeper today, they were in 25-28 ft of water.  Everything else was caught off the weed line.

7/6/06 Delavan Lake, sunny 80 degrees.  Winds light out of the SW.  Caught 3 walleyes, 3 largemouth, 2 northerns (1 legal) and 1 smallmouth.  The northerns came off of suckers in 22 ft of water.  The bass and other fish were caught off the weed line.

7/4/06 Delavan Lake, sunny 85 degrees.  SW winds at 5-10 mph.  Caught 2 northerns, 3 walleyes, 2 largemouth.  Fishing was very slow.  Northerns came on suckers and everything else was on nightcrawlers.

7/1/06 Delavan Lake, cloudy, 80 degrees.  Winds howling out of the SW at 15-20 mph.  Caught 2 northerns(1 was 32 inches), 5 walleyes (largest was 17 inches), 9 largemouth ( 1 legal), 1 smallmouth and a bunch of bluegills.  The wind made fishing tough.  Most of the fish were caught on nightcrawlers fished on a split shot rig.  The pike came off of suckers.

6/30/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees.  Winds calm - Caught 2 northerns, 1 that was 35 inches and 1 that was 32 inches.  One 20 inch smallmouth, 8 largemouth (2 legal), 6 walleyes and about 50-75 bluegills.  Pike and smallmouth bass came off suckers in 25-30 ft of water.  The largemouth bass and walleyes were caught on nightcrawlers fished on a split shot rig right off the weed line in 16-20 ft.  Bluegills were caught on leaf worms beneath the boat.

6/28/06 Delavan lake, partly sunny, then rain, 75 degrees.  Winds light out of the SW. Fished from 4 pm to 7:30 pm. A severe thunderstorm chased us off the lake a bit early. The bite was really good and in 3 1/2 hours of fishing we boated 10 northerns (largest 32 inches), 5 largemouth (largest 19 1/2 inches - caught on the first cast of the night) The bass were caught on nightcrawlers fishing the weedline. The pike were caught in 30-35 ft of water, 15-20 ft down. It was bizarre that the pike were suspended. I usually catch them right on the weedline. I was lindy rigging with a 1/0 hook and a 3/4 oz sinker on 25# test. Most of the fish were 26-29 inches. Didn't catch any walleyes tonight, I was waiting until later in the night to try the walleye spots but we ended up leaving early.

6/27/06 Delavan Lake, cloudy 70 degrees.  Light winds out of the SW.  First Bluegill trip of the year, Caught 50-60 gills, Kept 20 for a fish fry, 3 good largemouth (2 legal biggest was 20"), 3 very small L. bass, 1 19" Smallmouth, 2 31" Pike, 1 17 3/4" Walleye. Overall a good night on the water. Fish were in the 15-18ft range. Northerns were on suckers, all the rest on nightcrawlers or leaf worms. Fished all the lake over there was no real concentrations of fish.

6/25/06 Lake Geneva, rainy & sunny.  75 degrees.  Light winds out of the SE and SW. Fishing was pretty slow today.  Caught 6 largemouth (3 legal - the largest was 19 inches), 1 smallmouth.  Drifted nightcrawlers by Trinkes, Coleman's Point and the Peterson Mansion.  Peterson Mansion was the best.

6/24/06 Lake Geneva, sunny, 75 degrees.  Light winds out of the SW.  Caught 14 largemouth (9 legal), 3 smallmouth (2 legal).  Dragging nightcrawlers by Trinkes and by Coleman's Point.  The best depth was 13-14 ft.

6/22/06 Lake Geneva, partly sunny, highs in the 80's, no wind.  Caught 10-15 largemouth, 3 smallmouth- 1 was 18 inches.  Dragging nightcrawlers by Trinkes and by the Yacht Club.  The best depth was 12-14 ft.

6/21/06 Lake Geneva, partly sunny, some rain clouds in the area, 80 degrees. SW winds at 5 mph.  Caught 14 largemouth (9 legal) the largest was 17 inches.  Drifted nightcrawlers in 15-16 ft of water, moved deeper due to the lightning.  Fished near Trinkes.

6/18/06 Delavan Lake, raining (hard) - 80 degrees.  S winds at 5 mph.  Fished only 1 1/2 hours due to excessive rain.  Caught 1 walleye and 2 largemouth bass.  Fishing was miserable - casting crank baits in the crappie pattern on the weedline.

6/17/06 Lake Geneva, partly cloudy, 95 degrees.  SW winds at 20 mph - late a.m. trip - Caught 3 smallmouth (2 legal) and 1 largemouth and loads of panfish.  Continued to fish by the Military Academy in 12 ft of water.  The fishing really slowed down as the boat traffic increased.

6/17/06 Lake Geneva, partly cloudy - 90 degrees. SW wind at 20 mph.- early a.m. trip.  Caught 8-12 smallmouth (6 legal) 3 largemouth (2 legal) and many panfish.  The wind dictated only fishing the south shore.  Drifted nightcrawlers by the Military Academy in 12-14 ft of water.   

6/16/06 Lake Geneva, partly cloudy, 90 degrees.  S winds at 20 mph.  evening trip - Caught multitudes of panfish, 2 largemouth bass ( legal) and 3 smallmouth (2 legal).  One fish was 18 inches.  We were drifting nightcrawlers by the Military Academy and Linn Pier in 12-14 ft of water.  

6/16/06 Delavan Lake, partly cloudy, 85 degrees.  Winds SW at 15 mph.  Early a.m. trip - Caught 3 walleyes (1 legal), 6 largemouth and 1 northern.  The walleyes were caught on crank baits on the weeds.  The bass were caught on nightcrawlers on the split shot in 15-17 ft. of water. The pike were caught on a spinner bait.

6/14/06 Delavan Lake, partly cloudy, 70 degrees.  Winds out of the SW at 5 mph.  Fished 2 hours in the a.m. Caught 4 walleyes, no legals, 2 largemouth bass, both legal and 2 short northerns.  Casting crankbaits to the deep weedline in 16-17 ft of water.  Was casting customized fat free shads to imitate the crappie.

6/11/06 Delavan Lake, partly cloudy, 60 degrees. Winds out of the east at 10-14 mph.  Caught 10 largemouth, 1 northern.  The northern was 31 inches. The bass were caught in 4-5 ft of water on nightcrawlers.  The pike was caught off the South shore in 20 ft of water.

6/7/06 Delavan Lake, sunny, 75 degrees. Winds light out of the west.  Caught 14 largemouth (2 legal), 2 smallmouth, 2 walleyes, and 4 northerns (33 inch was the largest) The largemouth bass were caught on All Terrain stiks, green pumpkin and nightcrawlers.  The nightcrawlers on the split shot rig also caught the walleye and the smallmouth bass.  The northerns were caught on suckers fished in 24 ft of water.

6/4/06 Delavan Lake, a.m for 2 hours, winds E at 5 mph.  Temp 70 degrees.  Caught 15 largemouth all on All Terrain Stiks, Green Pumpkin was the best color.  Fished 5-6 ft of water.  Best Location was by Lake Lawn Lodge.

6/3/06 Lake Geneva, a.m., 70 degrees, winds E at 10-15 mph.  Caught 1 largemouth (legal) and 3 smallmouth (all legal) and tons of rock bass and bluegill.  Fished 12-14 ft of water using split shot nightcrawlers.  Best location was Elgin Club or the Military Academy.

6/2/06 Delavan Lake, a.m., 70 degrees, winds W at 10 mph.  Caught 19 bass and 1 northern.  Fished most of the morning in 4-5 ft of water.  Fished All Terrain Stiks, green pumpkin was the best.  Moved out to the weed line for northerns the last 1/2 hour of the trip, caught 1 and had 2 others on.

5/29/06 Delavan Lake, late a.m., 90 degrees, Winds 15 mph out of the SW.  Fishing slowed from the early a.m. - caught 2 smallmouth, one was 18 inches.  One largemouth and a couple of panfish.  Was fishing the weed lines in 16-18 ft.  There wasn't much happening with northerns in the afternoon.

5/29/06 Delavan Lake, a.m., 80 degrees, winds SW at 10 mph.  Caught 20 largemouth bass, the biggest was 22 inches.  Caught 3 northerns, 35 and 32 inches were the biggest.  Caught the bass shallow, fishing nightcrawlers on a split shot rig.  The fish were cruising.  It appeared that the fish I caught were done spawning, there's still a lot of fish on the beds though.  The pike were caught on suckers fished in 15-20 ft of water.  Great Day on the Water.

5/28/06 Lake Geneva, Sunny, 85 degrees. Winds SW at 15 mph.  Caught 2 smallmouth bass, 1 largemouth and about 70 rock bass.  Took some kids fishing who just wanted to catch them.  Working 10-12 ft of water by the spawning flats.  Fished by the Military Academy and by Fontana Beach.  

5/27/06 Delavan Lake, late a.m. - partly cloudy, 85 degrees.  Winds SW at 10 mph.  Caught 1 small largemouth bass and a couple of panfish.  Fishing was brutal.

5/27/06 Lake Geneva, a.m, partly cloudy, 85 degrees, winds light out of the west.  Caught 4 largemouth, 2 smallmouth and tons of rock bass.  Found active fish in 4-5 ft of water in Geneva Bay.  Caught most of the fish in that location using nightcrawlers on a split shot rig.

5/25/06 Lake Geneva, pm, rain, then partly cloudy, winds SW at 10 mph.  Temp 70 degrees.  Caught 1 largemouth, 1 smallmouth and a multitude of rock bass.  Fished by the Elgin Club and Military Academy.  The smallies weren't spawning yet.  Very slow, thank God for the rock bass.

5/20/06 Lake Geneva, a.m., sunny, winds light out of the SW - cold and 45 degrees.  Tried to find some crappies without much luck.  Caught several rock bass and bluegill and 2 small mouth bass.  Fished from Geneva Bay back towards Williams Bay anywhere from 6-20 ft of water. 

5/17/06 Delavan Lake, fished the a.m. - sunny turning rainy, winds picked up out of the NW to about 15 mph.  Air temp 65 degrees.  Caught 2 largemouth bass, 1 legal and 1 northern pike.  All the fish were caught on a fat free shad, pearl color.  I was fishing the weed line.

5/16/06 Whitewater Lake, evening, 65 degrees and sunny.  Winds SW at 10 mph.  Caught 2 largemouth, both on Senkos.  Green pumpkin was the best color.  Worked 2-5 ft of water.

5/14/06 My wife made me stay home because of Mother's Day 

5/13/06 Lake Geneva, cloudy, rainy, 45 degrees.  Winds out of the north.  Tried to find some crappies and got totally skunked.  Weather was miserable.

5/13/06 Delavan Lake, cloudy and rainy, 45 degrees.  winds light out of the north.  Caught 4 northerns, 1 smallmouth and 1 crappie. The pike were caught using suckers on lindy rigs.  The best depth was 10-12 ft.  The bass was caught on small plastics.

5/10/06 Lake Geneva, cloudy, light winds out of the west, water temp 52, air temp 65 degrees.  Caught 4 smallmouth, the biggest was 4 lbs.  One 14 1/2 inch crappie and 5 rock bass.  Fished 2 hours in the evening.  All the fish were caught on a small Kalins grub fished on a darter head.  Best depth was 14 ft.  Was fishing outside of spawning flats.

5/7/06 Whitewater Lake, sunny, winds W at 10-15 mph.  Temp 65 degrees.  Fished 5 hours in the a.m. - caught 15 bass.  The largest fish was caught on a white spinner bait off of a log in the water, it was 20 inches.  The rest of the fish were caught on different colored All Terrain Stiks.

5/6/06 Whitewater Lake, sunny, winds W at 10-15 mph.  Temp 72 degrees.  Caught 3 largemouth in one hour, the biggest was 22 inches.  It was caught in 4 ft of water on an All Terrain Stik, green pumpkin color.

4/29/06 Delavan Lake, Partly Cloudy, 42 degrees, winds SE at 15-20 mph.  Water temp 53 degrees.  Caught 1 crappie,1 Perch,1 Bass,1 Northern.  The crappie was caught on a small minnow.  The best depth was 8-10 ft.  The best location was in front of Lake Lawn Lodge. It was windy with a bad cold front

4/22/06  Delavan Lake, Partly Cloudy, 65 degrees, winds N at 10 mph.  Water temp 53 degrees.  Caught 2 small bass and 15 crappies.  The crappies were caught on 1/32 oz jigs fished with purple and yellow plastics.  The best water depth was 8-10 ft on the outside of scattered weeds.  The best location was the west end. Didn't try any minnows but heard more fish were caught on minnows.
